Mercer’s QuadWorks recently announced the lineup of artists for the annual music festival Bearstock on April 13. This year’s lineup will include artists like MAX, Social House, Lewis Ashe and the Locals, and DJ Saturn. Here’s a recap of what you should know:

MAX

With over 3 billion streams, multiple world tours, and multi-platinum hits, MAX went viral after his hit song “Lights Down Low” generated half a billion streams globally and landed him a certified triple platinum award in the United States. MAX’s main message is to spread acceptance and create a safe space for his listeners, allowing them to feel connected and loved.

MAX, also known as Maxwell Schneider, was born and raised in Woodstock, New York. Since the age of 3, MAX had an undeniable love for music, with the artist landing his first role as the swing understudy in the Broadway musical “13.”

MAX is also well known for his song “Show You How You Do” in the Disney series “Shake it Up”  and has starred in a Nickelodeon original film. His recent collaborations include artists like SUGA from BTS, Hayley Kiyoko, Quinn XCII, LE SSERAFIM, keshi and many more.

Social House

The iconic American duo from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is well known for their production work in pop, R&B and hip-hop. Formed by Michael Foster and Charles Anderson in 2015, the pair originally moved from Los Angeles and started out by writing and producing songs for top artists like Chis Brown, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor.

In 2018 they released a debut single with rapper Lil Yachty titled “Magic in the Hamptons,” garnering 450 million streams on Spotify. Their biggest hit, however, that won the pair an MTV music award was the song “Boyfriend” with artist Ariana Grande.

Lewis Ashe and the Locals

Based in Macon, lead singer and guitarist Lewis Ashe is a 22-year-old multi-instrumentalist tuned in on finding his sound. He uses influences ranging from rock and grunge to psychedelic rock and alternative folk. Lewis Ashe and the Locals hope to make something authentic and spread their musicality to all who will listen.
