Mercer students enjoyed free entry to the Cherry Blossom Fair on Thursday at Carolyn Crayton Park. There was a miscommunication with some ticket vendors charging for entry, but wrongly charged students were able to a refund from Mercer’s Campus Life office.

The Historic Macon Foundation (HMF) held its semi-annual flea market recently, running for three days from March 31 to April 2. The market has been a staple of Macon's yearly calendar of events since it started more than 40 years ago.

For many college students, the upcoming Georgia midterms will be the first election where they are voting age. While Nov. 8 may seem far away, the deadline to register to vote in Georgia is Oct. 11, just a few days away.
