1. Night at the Museum: On Oct. 20, Macon’s Museum of Arts and Sciences will present a spooky yet family-friendly museum experience filled with planetarium shows and live demonstrations that will give you your annual dose of fright.
2. Rock Candy Tours: Every Friday night of October, Rock Candy Tours is giving walking tours of the city exploring Macon’s ghostly past. Uncover unsolved mysteries, ghost stories, and some of the beautiful Gothic architecture that can be found throughout downtown.
3. Riverside Cemetery’s Spirits in October: From October 26th to November 5th, Riverside Cemetery presents a thrilling Halloween experience filled with exciting ghost tales enacted by live scare actors telling the chilling stories of Macon’s history.
4. All Blues Music and Arts Revival: Listen to the best Blues artists the industry has to offer while also enjoying a display of Southeastern Folk Art. The event will take place on Oct. 21 at Mill Hill Park with free admission and will feature food trucks and a Juke Joint style bar.
5. Haunts on a Hill: From Oct. 21 to Oct. 26, the iconic Hay House offers the Haunts on a Hill event. This spine-tingling experience allows you to tour some of Macon’s most historic structures including the spooky College Hill Corridor. Guests have the opportunity to explore Macon’s rich history and learn something new about the city.
