Men's lacrosse played four games from March 4 to 19 against Robert Morris University, Mount St. Mary's University, Wagner College and the United States Air Force Academy. They went 1-3 in those games.

Smino, a rapper and singer who hails from Chicago, was announced as Quadworks' Bearstock headliner Friday night. The lineup announcement took place after a "Paint and Sip" event in the Connell Student Center.

After their walk-off win against Georgia Tech, the Bears played against the Saint Peter’s University Peacocks at OrthoGeorgia Park for three games last weekend, ultimately winning all three games.

The Mercer Review, a pre-law and academic publication, received a revitalization this semester with a new editor-in-chief. The publication, run by junior Safia Serena Tejani, provides undergraduate students the opportunity to spread their knowledge of various global topics and provide commentary through their original research.

The International Cherry Blossom Festival will be holding its 40th year annual festival March 18-27 in Carolyn Crayton Park in Macon. After a two year hiatus, the plan is to bring the festival back at full throttle.

The women's basketball team entered the tournament as the No. 1 seed in the 2022 Southern Conference tournament and played No. 8 Western Carolina University on Mar. 3. Mercer defeated the Catamounts 85-46 and played Samford the next day. With a combined 38 points from Amoria Neal-Tysor and Shannon Titus, the Bears took down the Bulldogs 65-35 and punched a ticket to the SoCon championship game.

The new video game "Elden Ring," developed by FromSoftware Inc., sees its story take place in a realm called the Lands Between after the magic Elden Ring is destroyed and its shards are scattered. The land once graced by the Ring’s power has fallen under the rule of the demigod offspring of Queen Marika the Eternal. Each offspring holds a piece of shard of the Ring that corrupts them with its power. Players take control of an exile from the Lands Between who lost the Ring’s grace and are summoned back after the Shattering. Players must traverse the vast lands to collect the Great Runes, reforge the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord.
