One month into semester, students express mixed opinions over new dining changes

Since the demolition of the Connell Student Center over the summer, dining options for students have changed drastically across campus. The Fresh Food Company moved to Penfield Hall, the Farmers' Market in the University Center expanded and The Drop moved to Tarver Library. With these changes have come mixed student opinions on both the efficiency and the quality of the dining options Mercer provides on campus.

Profits over people: Unaffordable drugs led to death of millions

Chinekwu Obidoa hosted a screening for the film “Fire in the Blood,” directed by Dylan Mohan, as part of the African Film Series on Nov. 11. The documentary explores the impact of Western pharmaceutical companies blocking access to affordable antiretroviral drugs that treat HIV and AIDS in developing countries.

'Let There be Light' exhibit unveiled in Tarver Library

Mercer Archives revealed a new, ancient lamp exhibit through their “Let There Be Light” event on Thursday, Oct. 23. Hosted in Tarver Library, the exhibit featured 48 out of the 317 ancient oil lamps in the Holmes Holy Land Ancient Artifact Collection.
